I wanted the protective sleeve the other way (to the sides), but this one is to the bottom. Currently it works when I stick it to my laptop after turning 90 degrees. But it will be way better if the strips are present at both sides.
I suppose I knew going in that I was spending $30 for what were essentially stickers for my MacBook. Unfortunately, I would not say the quality is there. I expected them to be cut more precisely to fit along the edge of the MacBook. I'd pay $15 for these and be happy. If I could return them, I would.
Fair feedback, David. Every MacBook year has slightly different edges and corners, so a pad cut for one model can sit slightly off on another. That's the gap you're seeing, not sloppy cutting. On price: we use genuine Ultrasuede from Japan and cut and assemble WatchPads locally in San Francisco instead of going cheaper overseas, which is where the cost comes from. Sorry it missed the mark for you.
Excellent product. Love how well it fits the Mac and how it feels under the watch bracelet.
The round corner of the pad does not perfectly fit the new 16” M5 MacBook Pro.
The adhesive stinks pretty badly for about two days, not good since it’s a laptop I need to use for many hours per day for work. So, if installing, probably do it on Friday evening to give it time to air out before you need the laptop. The fold down flange part needs to be on both sides, not just one side. The price is also ridiculous for what essentially is two fluffy stickers. Most importantly, the brand new clasp on the bracelet is already scratched as if this product was not on the laptop. The texture is nice though.
I am enjoying the watch pads so far. They protect my computer and watch from scratches, and they're nice and soft, making typing more confortable. Great product!

I like to wear watches, and I use a MacBook all day long. These two things are not normally compatible. Now they are. This is a must have in my book. These wear like iron too. After several weeks of wearing a stainless watch all day, it hasn't faded the WatchPads one bit. A+ product from an A+ company. Thanks!

So I have to say I really like this product. It’s the only one of its kind that isn’t a plastic film, and I got tired of always touching a cold MacBook Air and so that so that’s why I went for this soft material. It’s soft to the touch and there’s no complaints on that.
The product came with a plastic smell and so I’m hoping in a few days the odor will dissipate. My second complaint is I wish the product was even just another hair or two thinner. My MacBook Air 15in (M4) is still left just a little open due to the thickness of the pads and it will not close all the way—although it comes close. I hope future productions can be made just a little more thin to ensure a perfect close on the MacBook/laptop.
Overall I’ll keep them on my MacBook for now. My wrist isn’t cold, and they work as advertised!

On the initial odor, that can occasionally happen due to the adhesive and packaging, and it will dissipate within a few days after installation.
The feedback on thickness and laptop closure is fair, especially with the newer MacBook Air models that have very tight tolerances. We’re actively working on refinements to reduce thickness while keeping the same level of protection and comfort, and comments like yours directly influence those updates.

I have a sub and this is the only thing I could find that works. If you have a nice metal watch, you understand what I'm talking about. Rolex + Macbook Air + Watchpad = Finally.
I got these because I got a new watch and didn't like wearing it while I worked on my laptop because it scratched and was uncomfortable. But with the WatchPads, it's much more comfortable wearing my watch at work.

These feel like absolute clouds. Even when not wearing my watch, they are EXTREMELY comfortable on my wrists.
Does exactly what is described. The pads keep the laptop from closing flush ever so slightly, but it's not really noticeable. They not only keep me from scratching my laptop, it feel much better and cuts down on fatigue.
The "small" size fits the 13.8" Microsoft Surface Laptop very well. The pads' radiuses at the laptop corners are 1-2mm short, but the straight edges and surfaces are well-protected.
